Terms and Conditions

1. Services Provided and Intellectual Property

SAFIYYA STYLE offers business image consulting services, including training and custom-tailored clothing for both men and women. The package inclusions will be listed on the sales contract. SAFIYYA STYLE agrees to do everything necessary to ensure that the terms of the sales contract take effect.

All intellectual property and related material (including drawings, designs, patterns) that is developed or produced for the custom clothing collection will remain the property of SAFIYYA STYLE. The client is granted a limited-use licence of this property when items are manufactured.

2. Accuracy of order

During the initial meeting with a SAFIYYA STYLE stylist, body measurements will be taken. All custom clothingitems are fabricated based on these measurements, and one set of alterations will be performed on the clothing prior to final delivery of the order. 

All products/fabrics are subject to availability, which means that we occasionally SAFIYYA STYLE could encounter supply issues and substitutions must be made. SAFIYYA STYLE will inform the client as soon as possible if the product requested is not available and an alternative product of equivalent or higher quality might be offered.

3. Payment

The sales contract will indicate whether the sale price is in CAD or USD currency. Without exception, payment is required at the time of purchase. Payments can be made by cheque, cash, credit card, or Interac E-Transfer. An order will not be guaranteed or processed until the full payment of the amount listed on the sales contract is received.

4. Shipping

SAFIYYA STYLE makes every effort to ensure the timely manufacturing and delivery of all orders with a delay of 6-8 weeks but due to global pandemic situation, this delay could be longer. The provided delivery date is an estimated date and not an ensured one. Due to external factors, the delivery date could differ from the confirmed date. While SAFIYYA STYLE makes every effort to maintain a reasonable delivery date, issues in the supply chain and/or with the shipping courier can lead to delays. No reimbursements, discounts or refunds will be possible, including in the event that the delivery date is not met.

5. After-sales policy: Alterations, exchanges, and refunds

Due to the fact that every product is 100% individually custom-tailored and handcrafted, SAFIYYA STYLE doesnot offer refunds, exchanges, or returns. This is standard practice for custom-tailored products as there is no resale value.

The purchase of SAFIYYA STYLE clothing includes ONE set of free alterations.

Once the custom clothing is manufactured, the client will meet with the SAFIYYA STYLE tailor for one fitting session. The custom clothing will then be altered as per the measurements taken at this meeting. 

The alteration will only be provided free of charge if the client is within the range of the clothing size taken duringthe first meeting. If the client’s body has changedsignificantly since the original measurement session (+/- one dress size or more) regardless of the reason (weight gain/loss whether intentional or not, pregnancy, injury, etc.)the alterations are no longer included in the SAFIYYA STYLE package the client shall be billed for all alterations.

Upon delivery of the final order, SAFIYYA STYLE is no longer responsible for the cost of alternations. Should the client decide to have the items altered at any time in the future, regardless of the reason, the alterations will be billed to the client.

6. Cancellation

All sales are final. SAFIYYA STYLE does not allow for cancellations of orders once payment has been made.
